The 27 Club is a cultural phenomenon referring to musicians who died at age 27. But what about those who make it past?
Surviving 27 explores what happens when you survive the things that were supposed to break you. 16 tracks about getting older, still creating, and hopefully still having something worth saying.
Each cover begins as a simulation. Custom work in Houdini defines the visual rules — color palettes, shapes, compositions — but the specific execution is unique to each edition.
Once complete, the artwork is printed on thick cardstock, the music pressed onto 180g vinyl, and each copy is individually inspected before shipping.
